Do you engage contractors and others?

With the new 'harmonised' Work Health and Safety laws set to commence nationally on 1 January 2012, employers are scrambling to understand how to meet their safety obligations.

The new legislation states that employers generally are required to ensure the safety of their workers “so far as reasonably practicable”.
