Handy Summary of Union Rights of Entry under Fair Work Act
You are here:We have created a handy summary document setting out union rights of entry under the Fair Work Act.
The summary includes a summary of the major changes from the previous Work Choices provisions, which are primarily -
- to allow union access to non-union employee records in certain circumstances; and
- to remove the prohibition on union right of entry for discussions with employees in workplaces where all employees are either on AWAs or bound by non-union collective agreements.
We have also updated our recent article discussing the right of entry changes to include the summary.
